The multinational energy company is hiring an Ombuds Manager. The full-time position is based in Perth, Western Australia and reports to Chevron's Principal Ombuds Manager, Sana Manjeshwar. The office practices to IOA standards
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree; at least five years Ombuds, human resources, mediation or other related industry experience; and supervisory or management experience. Demonstrated mediation/ADR experience and CO-OP certification are preferred. No salary indicated. Applications are due by September 5, 2019. (Chevron Jobs.)

Organizational Ombuds

Organizational Ombuds serve as a confidential, independent, neutral and informal dispute resolution resource for a specific entity. They are accessible to a defined population and can advocate for fairness. These unique characteristics distinguish Organizational Ombuds from Classical Ombuds, mediators, arbitrators, and other alternative dispute resolution professionals. The term "Ombuds" is shorthand for "Ombudsman," "Ombudsperson" and "Ombuds Officer," which also are used widely.
