Robin Dickey has been named the Academic Ombuds at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In this new role, she serves faculty, medical students, postdoctoral fellows, and medical graduates who are part of the largest medical center in the world. She continues also as a Faculty Assistance Specialist for UTHealth. As the Ombuds, she practices to IOA standards.
Dickey graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, and earned a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University, and PhD in Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences from Saybrook University. Dickey joined UTHealth in 2016 as the Faculty Assistance Specialist within the UTHealth Faculty Assistance Program. She serves UTHealth through both supportive capacities.
