I always wonder when I see language "will report to the Office of the President." Why is it so hard to just say "report to the president"? It conveys that a given position might end up reporting to a chief of staff, or someone else.
ReplyDeleteI think that's the reality. The Ombuds is technically reporting to the Chief of Staff so the President isn't approving time sheets and vacation requests. In this case, the language in the post reflected the job description. I'm not sure of the actual arrangement.
