The private research university in Massachusetts serving an Associate Ombuds. The position reports to University Ombuds Francine Montemurro along with Associate Ombuds Lailul Ikram. The search will fill a position previously held by Erin Wright.

Applicants must have an advanced degree and at least three years of relevant experience. Experience as an Ombuds, mediation certification, and work in complex organizational systems are preferred. Organizational Ombuds serve as a confidential, independent, neutral and informal dispute resolution resource for a specific entity. They are accessible to a defined population and can advocate for fairness. These unique characteristics distinguish Organizational Ombuds from Classical Ombuds, mediators, arbitrators, and other alternative dispute resolution professionals.
