The public research university in Edmonton is hiring an Undergraduate Ombudsperson (Student Advisor). The U of A Student OmbudService serves a student body of 38,000, staff and other campus members by providing advice and assistance relating to academic and non-academic grievances. The Ombudsperson is primarily involved in undergraduate student casework.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree at a minimum. Teaching, advising, and research skills would be an asset. The annual salary range is $56,971-$94,955 and applications are due by September 8, 2011. (UAlberta Careers.)
