Job Posting: Baylor College of Medicine

The highly ranked medical school and leading center for biomedical research center in Houston, TX has opened a search for its first director for the BCM Office of the Ombudsman. Reporting to the Provost, the position will assist staff, faculty, students, post docs and trainees at all levels.  (Previously, BCM had an Ombuds, Shelley Sazer, who reported to the Dean of the Graduate School and worked only with graduate students and postdocs.)

Applicants must have an MD, PhD or other suitable professional qualification; be a full professor, holding tenure; and have at least five years of experience at BCM (although the position is being advertised publicly).  The position pays up to $160,000.  No application deadline indicated.  (Higher Ed Jobs.)
