Anita Tøien Johansen, the Studentombud for the Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, attended the 12th annual conference of the European Network of Ombudsmen in Higher Education at the end of May in Innsbruck, Austria. Her latest blog post provides an overview and several pictures.
She writes:
We heard many stories and examples from Ombuds' daily life worldwide, and participated in debates on various issues that Ombuds confront. Finally, we also considered various challenges that student Ombuds in Europe face today. There is very much good student Ombuds work is going on and much we can learn from each other. Therefore, I am grateful that I got the opportunity to meet colleagues from around the world, learn from their experiences and return home full of hope and inspiration for my work.
