UCSB has appointed Caroline Adams as its next Campus Ombuds and Director of the Office of the Ombuds. Adams has held the position since the departure of Kirsi Aulin who moved to a similar position at the University of Colorado.
Adams joined the UC Santa Barbara Ombuds Office in March 2013. She has become an active volunteer with the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution Ombuds Committee. She graduated from Pomona College, earned a MFA (in metalsmithing!) at Montana State University, and a JD at the University of Montana School of Law. (LinkedIn.)
