The public university in Boca Raton has opened a search for its next Ombudsman. (Angie Gifford has served in the role for the past five years.) The FAU Office of the Ombuds primarily serves students, of which there are about 31,000 enrolled. The office practices to the usual Organizational Ombuds standards and reports to the campus's chief administrative officer.
Applicants must have a master's degree and three years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree and five years of appropriate experience. The full-time position pays $60,000 to $70,000. Applications are due July 2, 2018 (the job was posted on June 25, 2018). (Careers at FAU.)
