Rosa Garner, the Ombudsperson for the UW–Madison Schools of Medicine and Public Health, and Pharmacy, has received the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Service to the University. Pat Kokotailo, professor of pediatrics and associate dean for faculty development and faculty affairs said that Garner works behind the scenes, “to improve the climate and community within the [schools] and the entire campus, with her diligence, persistence and attention to all people’s needs.” (UW-Madison News.)
