Cal Caucus Invites 2016 Proposals

The Planning Group and Program Committee of the California Caucus of College and University Ombuds is soliciting proposals for its conference at Pacific Grove on November 13-16, 2016.

Organizers explain:

In our 43rd Cal Caucus conference, we hope to explore the art and craft of our work, and the contexts and circumstances in which we serve as ombuds. We welcome presentations inspired by the theme Crafting the Art of Ombudsing in Challenging Times. This theme is intended to be both broad and inclusive. If you have other presentation topics or ideas for speakers, please know that they are also welcome. [¶] We are looking forward to developing a superb program for the upcoming conference and are particularly interested in program proposals that include an opportunity for meaningful participant engagement, for example through discussions, exercises, or case studies.
The time frames for the presentations are generally in 90, 60, or 20 minute segments. The submission due date is Friday, April 1, 2016 and should be emailed to: Breanne.Taylor [at-sign] oregonstate [dot] edu.
