The position, "Serves as an independent, confidential resource, assisting students, families, and community members by providing formal and informal assistance in seeking to resolve concerns, problems, complaints, and other student-related issues." The district operates nearly 200 schools, employs 24,000, and enrolls nearly 190,000 students.
Applicants must have a master's degree in a relevant field and eight years related experience, including five years in a K-12 education setting. Equivalent experience may be considered. Mediation and/or conflict resolution experience preferred. Bilingual skills in a language other than English are also preferred. The salary band for the position is $81,216 to $143,331.
