IOA Honors 2017 Distinguished Emeriti

At a short ceremony on the first day of its annual conference, the International Ombudsman Association honored four former Ombuds who retired in 2017 or earlier. The award recognizes outstanding and dedicated service to the organization and Ombuds profession. This year's recipients are:

David Miller, Ombudsman for the World Health Organization and Editor of the Journal of IOA; 
Ellen Schreiber, Ombuds for the University of Idaho and IOA Board Member; 
Toni Robinson, Ombuds for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; 
Wendy Friede, Corporate Ombudsperson for American Express and IOA Instructor.
