Job Posting: University of Rochester

The private research university in Upstate New York hiring an Ombuds Director. It appears that this is a new position that will work with all faculty, staff, and students—a population of about 15,000. It is not clear from the posting whether this is a full- or part-time position or how it will interact with the existing Ombuds programs for Arts, Sciences and Engineeringgraduate students and faculty, and School of Medicine and Dentistry graduate students, postdocs, and trainees. The position is located in the provost's office.

Qualifications include: "Advanced degree from accredited institution. Knowledge of harassment, discrimination, whistleblower and other compliance related issues and relevant policies required. Leadership experience, especially with creating and coordinating new programs required." No salary or application deadline indicated. (Rochester Jobs.)
