The Office of the United Nations Ombudsman and Mediation Services (UNOMS) is seeking a Consultant for Conflict Resolution. The fully-remote position will report to the Regional Ombudsman in New York and provide Ombuds services to UN employees for nine months.
Applicants must have advanced university degree in a relevant area (or the equivalent combination of education and experience), seven years of relevant experience, fluency in English and French, and training or experience in conflict resolution. Who could leave a leave a job to work somewhere for only nine months? If they want seven years of experience that's someone who is probably already in a role. Who is able, in this economy, to say that they can gamble with only being employed for nine months?
