The consultancy has five objectives:
a) Conduct a comprehensive review of the Ombudsman office structure with a view to determining a fit-for-purpose structure.
b) Evaluate the alignment of the office structure with the office’s mandate under ST/SGB/2016/7.
c) Assess the workload distribution and efficiency of operations.
d) Review the effectiveness of the cost sharing methodology and suggest improvement to ensure timely contributions from all participating organizations to optimize service delivery.
e) Provide recommendations for optimizing the office structure, workload distribution, and cost sharing mechanism to enhance efficiency and sustainability
The project is anticipated to take up to 20 days. Travel is not anticipated and all work, including meetings, will be conducted remotely.
Applicants must have an advanced university degree, at least seven years of experience, demonstrated ability to write concise analysis and reports, and fluency in English. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with UN structures, organizational design or structure review experience, and spouses of UNDP staff in New York, Istanbul, Bangkok, or Dakar.
