The private, non-sectarian university in Florida has opened a search for its next University Ombudsperson and Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs. In addition to coordinating student affairs operations, the position works with students, faculty and staff in resolving grievances and complaints, and provides impartial and confidential guidance to students.
Applicants must have a master’s degree (PhD preferred) and a minimum of three years relevant experience, including interaction with students, faculty, staff and parents. The search will fill the position held by Gail Cole-Avent. V. Chunoo continues as the Academic Ombudsperson.
