IOA Board Shares Three-Year Strategic Plan

The Board of Directors for the International Ombudsman Association has completed a strategic plan for 2021 through 2024. The Board engaged Solid Ground Consulting and solicited input from a range of IOA leaders, volunteers and members. 

The IOA Strategic Direction includes five important elements:

1. Define the value of the organizational ombuds role and of IOA.
2. Focus on high-value activities that advance multiple goals.
3. Advance Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging.
4. Improve the organizational climate of IOA.
5. Improve IOA communications with members.
