Job Posting: Duke University

The private university in Durham, North Carolina is hiring a Student Ombudsperson. Last fall, a Hate and Bias Working Group recommended that Duke hire two full-time Student Ombuds, practicing to IOA standards. However, it is not clear whether the search will supplement or replace any of the four current part-time Ombuds.

Applicants must have Master's degree in a related field and at least four years of related experience required. Preferred
qualifications include: Ombuds training, dispute resolution and mediation training, familiarity with organizational development theories, and/or other relevant training; experience in the Ombuds role; IOA training and/or Certified Organizational Ombudsman Practitioner (CO-OP). No salary or application deadline indicated. (Duke Careers.)
