The private university near Boston, MA is hiring a part-time Ombuds Officer (17-18 hours per week) for a two-year contract. The Ombuds program at Brandeis was launched in 2015 in response to student protests about diversity on campus. Currently, two Ombuds, Elena Lewis and Susan Parker, serve about 7,500 faculty, staff, and students.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and five to eight years of experience, creating, managing and delivering high quality, comprehensive training and education programs. An advanced degree in a related field and experience in higher education are preferred. Priority application deadline is September 7, 2017. No salary indicated. (IOA Jobs.)
