After several months, the
leading cancer research and treatment center in Houston is still seeking an Ombuds Office Manager. The MDACC Ombuds
Office serves all
employees, including faculty, administrative and classified staff,
trainees and fellows and adheres to IOA standards.
The Manager provides case management, supervises professional staff,
provides consultation to employees/managers and assists in the
resolution of concerns and critical situations in the Institution.
Applicants should have a terminal degree and seven years as an
independent, professional Ombuds in a university or health care setting,
including two years supervisory/management experience. At one time, the position
was advertised as paying $89,200-$133,800 per year, but that detail is no longer included. (MD Anderson Careers, Req. # 5321.)
Are these folks ever going to make up their minds! One day it is on, the next it is off, go figure.
