The
private university for the education of the Deaf and hard of hearing in Washington, D.C. has re-opened its year-long search for a University Ombuds.
After seeking applicants externally last summer, the university reopened the process in January and limited it to internal applicants. The posting is again open to all qualified individuals.
Applicants must have a master’s degree and five years of experience in conflict management,
organizational change or closely related experience. In addition, applicants must be fluent
American Sign Language. The full-time position pays $69,400 to $124,900. (Gallaudet Jobs.)
