The
private research university has opened a search for its first Staff Ombudsperson to be based on the Danforth campus. The new, full-time position will work with a total staff population of about 10,000. The job description includes, "Maintains membership in the International Ombudsman Association and adheres to its Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice."
Applicants must have an advanced degree in a related field and previous experience in higher education or academic medicine. Preferred qualifications include
Ombuds training, formal dispute resolution training, mediation, experience in employee relations, organizational development, and/or other relevant training, experience in Ombuds role, and
