The independent, private, liberal arts college is hiring an Academic Ombudsperson. The part-time position will be available to full-time faculty members with workplace or academic conflicts. The Ombuds will report to the Provost for administrative and budgetary purposes. (Local mediator Connie Meyer briefly held the position in 2017, but left to join the faculty at Northwestern.)
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, preferably in the areas of social work, psychology, communications, counseling or closely related field required. A master's degree, full-time faculty rank, and three to five year’s professional experience working in higher education administration are preferred. (CCC Careers, via HigherEdJobs.)
