The board of the public school district in northeastern Washington has created a committee to consider the implementation of an "Ombuds for conflict resolution" as part of a larger evaluation of district communications. The mostly rural district enrolls about 3,000 students. Applications for the committee are due July 23. No timetable for the committee has been announced. (Pullman Schools News.)
