The department responsible for U.S. energy and nuclear safety policies is hiring an Associate Ombudsman. The position is based in the DOE Office of the Ombudsman in Washington, DC, and serves all DOE federal employees, world-wide. Several nights of travel per month may be required.
Applicants must have experience as third party neutral expert responsible for resolving conflict, mediating disagreements or personal disputes. The position is open only to U.S. citizens who are in one of the following four categories: current federal employees; current or former competitive service federal employees; career transition (CTAP, ICTAP, RPL); veterans; and individuals with disabilities. The GS-14/15 position pays $114,590 to $164,200 per year and applications are due by August 6, 2018. (Federal Govt. Jobs.)
