Elon University Appoints a Faculty Ombuds

Jeff Clark has been named the next Faculty Ombuds for the private university in North Carolina, effective July 1, 2019. He succeeds Mat Gendle. Clark completed IOA training in July.


Clark is a Professor of Mathematics and has taught at Elon since 1988. He has held a number of positions at the university, including Department Chair and Co-Chair of Presidential Task Force on Alcohol Use. All three of his degrees (BS, MS, PhD) were earned at Yale. (Elon News.)
