Kelli Johnson has been named the new Ombuds for Richland County School District Two, a fast-growing public school district in Columbia, South Carolina. Johnson will respond to inquiries and provides coordination of district services and report to the superintendent. “The ombudsman serves as a liaison between the community, schools and district administrative functions,” explained Superintendent Dr. Baron R. Davis.
Johnson worked at Richland Two for nearly three decades, most recently serving as the Director of Parent and Family Education. Her positions have included elementary school teacher, assistant principal, and principal. She has a bachelor’s degree and a master of education from the University of South Carolina.
