Tara Stevens has been named the Faculty Ombudsperson for the public research university in Lubbock, Texas. She succeeds Jean Pearson Scott, who established the position in 2015. Stevens is a Professor of Educational Psychology.
Stevens is a licensed school psychologist and has conducted research from the National Science Foundation, American Educational Research Association/IES, and the Mathematical Association of America/Tensor-Summa Foundation. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's in Psychology from Angelo State University, and her PhD from Texas Tech University. (TTU Faculty Ombuds.)
