National Institutes of Health Adds an Associate Ombuds

Michelle Arbid has been hired as an Associate Ombuds in the NIH Ombuds Office. She becomes a seventh person in the office lead by Victor Voloshin, which also includes Fernando Caetano, Elisa Enriquez, CO-OP, Toni Hawkins, and Tyler Smith.

Arbid comes from the Federal Emergency Management Agency Alternative Dispute Resolution Division, where she worked for the past seven and a half years. At FEMA, she began as the Acting Ombuds and rose to the Supervisory ADR Advisor and Reservist Program Manager. In addition, she is a currently on the faculty at Columbia University Thomas Jefferson University, and Pace University. She graduated from the Lebanese American University and earned an MS in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution at Columbia University. (LinkedIn; NIH Ombuds.)
