Icahn School of Medicine Now Has Three Ombuds

According to a new website, the medical school in New York (formerly the Mount Sinai School of Medicine), now has three Ombuds. George W. Huntley serves as the Ombudsperson for students and postdoctoral fellows in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences; and Joel Forman and Kathleen Halton work with house staff.


Huntley is Professor of Neuroscience and The Friedman Brain Institute. He graduated from UC San Diego and earned his PhD from UC Irvine. Forman is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Community and Preventive Medicine. He also serves as Pediatric Residency Program Director and Vice-Chair for Education. He earned his MD from the University of Vermont. Halton is Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology. She earned her MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
