Grinnell College Considering Ombuds Office

The Faculty Executive Committee at Grinnell has formed an ad hoc task force to consider whether the College should create an Ombuds program. The Ombuds Committee was recommended by a committee charged with reviewing governance issues, which was prompted in part by a personnel matter in Student Affairs. The Ombuds Committee was formed on September 21 and the results of its work are not yet public.
