The Federal Emergency Management Agency is seeking applications for its ADR Cadre--work that is very similar to that of Organizational Ombuds. The positions are deployed to assignments in FEMA disaster field offices following the declaration of a major disaster and focus on workplace conflict resolution.
Applicants should have substantial experience in mediation, facilitation, and the delivery of conflict resolution training. The work is intermittent and on-call, requiring the ability to travel for 30 consecutive days or more at a time. The positions pay an annual salary of $73,773-$87,728 and applications are due Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Note that multiple positions will be filled. (USA Jobs; FEMA ADR Office.)
