The United Nations' global development network seeks proposals for Conflict Resolution On-Call Expert. The position reports to the Office of the Ombudsman for UN Funds and Programmes and provides Ombuds and dispute resolution services to staff members and non-staff personnel of the UN Funds and Programmes (including UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNOPS and UN Women). The contract position is "home based" for for up to three years and starts June 15, 2017. Some travel is required.
Applicants must have an advanced university degree (ADR, administration, HR management, law, social sciences or related area) or the equivalent relevant experience; seven years of progressively responsible experience including five at the international level; experience in conflict management; and fluency in English.
