Ombuds at Metropolitan State University Minneapolis Serves Students [Updated]

At the public university in the Twin Cities (not to be confused with Metro State in Denver and as erroneously reported here in a prior version of this post), Renee Beaulieu-Banks serves as the Ombuds Officer and school's American Indian Student Success Coordinator.  Beaulieu-Banks has worked at Metro State for the past ten years.

Previously, she was the American Indian Advisor at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. She graduated from Metro State and is completing a master's at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN.(News@MetroLinkedIn.)

Updated 1/31/18: The earlier version of this post said that Beaulieu-Banks was a new hire at Metro State University in Denver, succeeding Michael Kilpatrick. That was incorrect; and that job is still not filled and the program is not being scaled back.
