Prospective speakers are asked to submit a one- to two- paragraph description of their topic, the format of the talk, and the approximate length required (20 minutes to 1.5 hours). The Planning Committee strongly prefers interactive discussions and audience participation. Topics are limited to those relevant to Academic Ombuds, but can relate to anything in that realm, including:
- Challenges facing Academic Ombuds
- Innovations relevant to Academic Ombuds
- Ombuds as change agents and/or leaders.
Proposals should be submitted by email to cynthia-joyce@uiow.edu no later than March 1, 2018.
