UC Davis has re-opened the application window for its next Campus Ombuds Program Director. The deadline, which had been March 19, has been extended to April 8, 2019 (after the IOA conference). In all other respects, the position description remains the same.
The Campus Ombuds Program Director supports the UC Davis campus in Davis as well as the UC Davis Health campus in Sacramento. They lead an office that currently includes: Dana Hinojosa, Interim Director; Lindsey Dunning, Associate Ombuds; and Lauren Bloom, Associate Ombuds. A current search will add an Assistant Ombuds soon.
Applicants must have a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience; five years of experience with handling two-party and group mediations; documented experience in mediating workplace conflicts between individuals and within and between groups; management experience including personnel and budget administration; and experience in developing and conducting educational workshops across an organization. Applications must be submitted by March 19, 2019. The salary range is $6,375.00-$14,541.67 per month. (UC Davis Posting.)
