The public state university in North Park, Chicago is seeking its second-ever Ombuds. The search will fill a vacancy left by Bradley R. Ginn who established the program in 2012 and who was recently appointed the first Ombuds for Argonne National Lab. The full-time, IOA compliant position reports to the University President and serves faculty, staff, and 8,000 students.
Applicants must have a graduate degree, mediation training, and substantial work experience. Experience with the structure of public institutions of higher education, work as an Ombuds, and completion of IOA Foundations is preferred. No salary indicated; applications due by March 25, 2019.
