University of Texas at Austin's Student Ombuds Marks 50 Years

The Office of the Student Ombuds at UT-Austin will celebrate a half century of service to the state's flagship university with an open house on March 13, 2019. The office is currently staffed by: Kouang Chan, Director and Student Ombudsperson; Vivian Wilbon, Administrative Associate; Kavita Koppa, Graduate Assistant; and Megan Kruse, Graduate Assistant.

Here's the announcement:
The University of Texas at Austin's Student Ombuds office will be celebrating its 50th anniversary!
Swing by our office in the Student Services Building for food and prizes as we look back on fifty years of helping students navigate university issues and concerns.
Though a lot has changed in 50 years, the Student Ombuds Office has remained a constant resource for students. During your visit, you can delve into the history of the Ombuds at the university by looking through Cactus Yearbook photos and news articles we've found from the past five decades. We'd also love to hear your stories about the office as well!
