Texas Tech Opens Internal Search for Next Faculty Ombuds

The public research university in Lubbock is seeking internal candidates to serve as its next Faculty Ombudsperson. Jean Pearson Scott has served in the role since it was established in 2015. The Ombuds works with about 2,600 academic staff and report to the Faculty Senate and Provost/Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs.  


Applicants must be a tenured member of the faculty. Applications will be reviewed beginning April 10, 2019.  (TTU Provost News.)
