The UW University Ombud, Chuck Sloan, marked his office's 50 year anniversary in 2019. In his annual report, Sloan said that the Office of the Ombud had seen a 98% growth in caseload over the past six years and handled 631 cases in 2019. He covers six different campuses and estimates that he and his staff traveled over 5,250 miles. The annual report also provides case example scenarios for student, faculty, and staff cases.
As usual, the report has some beautiful graphics. (UW Ombud Report.)
