WVU is soliciting internal applicants for its Faculty Ombudsperson, a part-time (0.25 FTE), three-year appointment. The search will replace Professor of Management, Jodi Goodman, who has been the Ombuds since the Fall of 2019. The Ombuds reports to WVU's provost and practices to IOA standards..
Applicants must be an active or retired faculty member at the rank of associate professor/professor or emeritus associate professor/professor. Experience in mediation and/or conflict resolution is required. Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures, supervising administrative staff, and managing a programmatic budget is highly desirable. Applications are due by May 12, 2022.
