Job Posting: Florida Institute of Technology

The private research university in Melbourne, Florida is hiring its first full-time University Ombudsperson. (For a short time, Rebecca Crook, the Executive Assistant to the University President, served in the role on a part-time basis.) The new Ombuds will establish a program for faculty, staff, and students at Florida Tech, following IOA standards. 

A Bachelor's degree and two to five years of experience is required. Preferred qualifications include audit credentials (i.e. CIA, CPA, CISA, or CFE) or audit experience, which are highly unusual, and a Master's degree. No salary or application deadline indicated. (Florida Tech Careers.)
