The United Nations Ombudsman and Mediation Services is hiring a Conflict Resolution Officer in Nairobi. The temporary position will serve the UN staff of the Resident Coordinator System. The position is currently through December 31, 2022 and may be extended based on funding availability and need.Applicants must have advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in a relevant area or equivalent experience; and at least seven years of professional experience. Experience providing conflict resolution or skill-building training, and experience working in the UN or other similar international organization are preferred. For this post, English fluency is required and knowledge of another UN language is preferred. Internal applicants may be preferred.
