The public research university in Lawrence is hiring an Associate Ombuds. The new, full-time, hybrid position will serve students, staff, and faculty, and reports to the University Ombuds, Ada Emmett. KU’s Ombuds Office practices to IOA standards and reports to the University Executive Vice Chancellor/Provost. The job is expected to start in September 2024.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and two years of work experience as an Organizational Ombuds or comparable/related experience. Preferred qualifications include a relevant Master’s degree; one year of Ombuds experience in higher education; and IOA training. The posted salary is $90,000 per year and applications will reviewed beginning June 10, 2024. (KU Jobs.)
