Josef Leidenfrost, the Austrian Ombudsman for Students, was elected President for ENOHE for the term July 1, 2019 until June 30, 2023. His statement upon being elected: “I am deeply honored to have been elected as the first official president of ENOHE. I will be happy to assist higher education institutions and their ombuds offices to develop their skills in resolving issues which arise in the course of daily life and advise those who want to set up such institutions. ENOHE will continue to liaise with other networks in those endeavors. My motto is: There is always room for improvement.” Previously, Dame Suzi Leather had served as ENOHE's Chair.
Jean Grier from the University of Edinburgh was elected Vice-President, Anna Cybulko from Warsaw University was elected Treasurer, and Bo Gad Køhlert from Copenhagen University will take up the position as Secretary of ENOHE.
Nine board members were also elected: Jenna Brown (USA), Marianne Rustberggard (Norway), Felicity Mitchell (England and Wales), Doris Kiendl (Austria), Paul Herfs (Netherlands), Martine Conway (Canada), Wolf Hertlein (Germany), Emilio Olías Ruiz (Spain), and Hugues Dreysse (France).
ENOHE's next conference and general assembly will be held in Athens in May 2020.
