Job Posting: Financial Industry Regulatory Authority

The non-governmental organization that regulates member brokerage firms and exchange markets in the U.S., is hiring its next Director for its Office of the Ombudsman.  Located in Rockville, MD, the full-time position reports to Cindy Foster, the VP and Ombudsman, and manages the office day-to-day. Some travel (up to 20%) is required.

Applicants must have a college degree (or equivalent work experience) and at least eight years of experience, preferably in a regulatory environment; five years direct supervisory experience; extensive knowledge of financial services and securities industry and of relevant rules applicable to FINRA and FINRA’s organizational structure, policies, and procedures. An advanced degree such as MBA or JD, or professional certification highly desirable.
