PVAMU, the large public HBCU in Texas has opened a search for its first Ombudsperson. The new position will report directly to the President & CEO and provide services to about 540 faculty members. The Ombuds is expected to follow IOA standards. 

Applicants must have a Master's degree in a related field and experience in higher education, including four years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include Ombuds training and experience, and CO-OP status. The position will pay a minimum of $78,763 per year ("may pay more ... depending on experience and/or qualifications of the selected candidate). The position will be open until filled.
