UVA has selected Amanda Monaco as its next University Ombuds. She follows Brad Holland and inherits a program that serves nearly 40,000 faculty, staff, and students at Virginia's flagship public university. Monaco comes to the position from the Virginia State Department of Human Resource Management, where she was the Director of Workplace Conflict.
Before joining Virginia's HR department, Monaco also worked as an Assistant Attorney General. She graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and earned her JD at Regent University School of Law. (LinkedIn.)
