Summer Internship: Department of the Interior

The Office of Collaborative Action and Dispute Resolution for the U.S. Department of the Interior seeks a graduate summer intern to join their workplace team. The position is a hybrid and reports to the office in Arlington, Virginia (Ballston) three days a week, along with two days of telework. CADR is looking for someone with prior experience in dispute resolution work. The position is unpaid, but is intended to provide professional benefits such as eligibility for public interest funding from the intern's graduate school.

The office includes many experienced practitioners, who collaborate to serve over 65,000 Department employees on a broad range of important issues. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to partner on a number of internal workplace conflict matters, to include conflict coaching, complex facilitation, conflict skills training, mediation and senior stakeholder briefings.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen. To apply, please send your resume or CV to Vik Kapoor (Vikram_kapoor[at-sign]ios.doi.gov), highlighting ADR/Ombuds experience. Applications are due by 5pm EST on March 1, 2023, and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
